Studio By Kelly is an independent endeavor actively preserving and sharing Arts created throughout the transcontinental diaspora. The Studio's mission is to bring attention to our collective creative legacy in an effort to honor the contributions of our ancestors within the disciplines of Music, Visual Art, Dance, Perfomance Art and Literature. Although procuring historic documents and media can be time consuming and expensive, the journey of cultural edification and enlightment with each new discovery makes such intensive work worthwhile. The outcome of the Studio's work is to produce a comprehensive library of Black Arts History for everyone to enjoy!

 

Presently, all sales generated through our Studio Gift Shop are the only source of revenue used to build our Arts History Archive. We are asking for your support by donating to our mission. Your financial gift will help our efforts in the following ways:

 

 

Creating a 5 Volume Black Arts History Educational DVD Collection for classrooms and for your home! (More details to come)

 

Expanding our virtual library by creating a comprehensive Arts History resource accessible to everyone on our website and through our social media channels.

 

Implementing Art Studio and Arts History Workshops within under-served communities for all ages.

 

Helping to offset expenses for research time, institution fees and licensure of historic documents and media. (It gets expensive!)

 

 

The suggested donation amount is $25.00. However, no amount is too great or too small. Your support is paramount and we cannot take on this monumental feat without you.
