Everyone seems to be feeling the weight, this centuries-long asphyxiation on our collective, African being. Teachers, parents, children, local shop owners, the guy on the corner... everyone seems to be negatively affected by recent current events of violence and injustice against Africans in America.

As Black artists, it is our resposibility to to make sure that what we create not only reflects the times we live in, but it provides a spiritual solace for our people in times of durress.

Erykah Badu, a Studio favorite, took a moment to create a mixtape with some great energy to help our collective remember and find our center amidst this deadly storm.
